Customer Reviews
Hear from our satisfied residents and families.
My mom was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. I was unable to meet all of her needs and the doctor recommended that I place her in a group home or a board and care. I decided to have her new home be at a board and care. We were fortunate to have found the board and care with Pia. She welcomed my Mom and our family with open arms. She was amazing. She went over and beyond with celebrations, acts of kindness, and a variety of positive experiences for my mom and the other residents. Not only were the patients and their families treated as family, but she extended her support and kindness to the staff as well. As difficult as it was to place mom in a board and care, I always knew that she was in a safe, loving, and experienced hands. My mom passed away almost 6 months ago, yet Pia still reaches out to us. Staff that had moved on still keep in contact with us too. I can not say how special my mom's last few years of life were eased with knowing the quality of life she was given with Pia and her staff. The climate of the B&C under her allowed each of the residents as well as their families to become one big family. We supported one another and all the families became one big family! Now that my mom is no longer living, our new "family" still continues the loving and caring bond for each of us.

My husband was in a care facility and Pia was one of the first professionals we met. As a nurse she would be there to answer our questions and help guide us. Her skills and credentials spoke for themselves, but her humanity was above and beyond. She made sure she was with us when he took his last breath. All the residents were treated like that. She was more than just a caregiver.
