About Carnations Home

Carnations Home is a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE). It is also known as an assisted living facilities, board and care home or senior care facility. Our home has undergone extensive inspections and has met the requirements for licensing through the California Department of Social Services. Carnations Home is proudly owned by a registered nurse with 20 years of experience in healthcare. This leadership ensures that our standards of care are not only compassionate but also medically informed.

Carnations Home was born out of love — the kind of love that never fades. It was inspired by my grandmother, Carnation, whose warmth, grace, and resilience shaped the person I am today. When she experienced a fall a few years ago, I faced one of the hardest decisions of my life: entrusting her care to someone else. That experience opened my eyes to the challenges families face when seeking a place that feels safe, compassionate, and truly like home.

At Carnations Home, we honor that journey. I understand, firsthand, the emotions behind this decision — the worry, the guilt, the hope for comfort and dignity. That’s why our mission is deeply personal: to provide care with the same tenderness, patience, and respect that I give my own grandmother.
